Devan has operated a tax and accounting practice for approximately 26 years, working with small businesses and individuals.
His work includes bookkeeping, general-ledger review, bank reconciliations, adjusting entries, monthly close, financial statements, and tax preparation. Client experience includes construction, professional services, and owner-operated businesses.
After earning his accounting degree from Mesa State College, now Colorado Mesa University, Devan began preparing returns for friends and family and developed the practice from there. He earned a Master of Accountancy from the University of Arizona Global Campus in 2025.
Today, Salazar Financial is an owner-operated practice based in St. George, Utah, with virtual service available. As a Xero partner, the firm uses connected bookkeeping to support the monthly accounting relationship.
